Dead Cells is an award-winning "roguevania" that blends roguelike permadeath with Metroidvania exploration. You play as a headless prisoner awakening on a mysterious island plagued by a deadly disease. Each run involves brutal combat, precise platforming, and discovering new weapons, skills, and shortcuts. Dying resets your progress but lets you permanently unlock upgrades with collected cells. Known for its responsive controls, high difficulty, stunning pixel art, and addictive "one more run" gameplay, it's available on both mobile and PC.
